Services We Provide

At Ink Express, we specialise in servicing Epson inkjet and sublimation printers. Whether your printer is used for everyday printing, crafting or sublimation, we offer a range of professional servicing options to help keep your printer performing at its best.

The services below can be tailored to your printer and the fault you are experiencing. If you can’t find the service you require, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to discuss your requirements.

Epson Printer Service

£35.00

Our standard printer service is ideal if your printer is producing poor quality prints, missing colours, blocked nozzles, banding, or simply requires a general clean and health check.

Your service may include:

• Print head cleaning
• Roller cleaning
• Print head alignment checks and adjustments
• Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS) priming (where fitted)
• Waste ink counter reading
• General inspection and assessment of your printer

Please allow up to one week for your printer service to be completed.

Important Information

The £35.00 service fee is payable in full before any work begins and is non-refundable. This fee covers the time and labour involved in inspecting, diagnosing and carrying out the standard service listed above.

A printer service is intended to assess the overall condition of your printer, identify the cause of any faults where possible, and carry out the maintenance included within the service. Whilst every effort will be made to resolve issues during the service, the standard service charge does not include additional repairs, replacement parts or specialist work that may be required.

If additional faults are identified during the assessment, we will contact you with a full explanation of our findings together with a quotation before carrying out any further work. No additional chargeable work will be undertaken without your approval.

Please note that payment for any authorised additional work may be required in advance before repairs are carried out.

A printer service is not a guaranteed repair. Whilst many printers are successfully restored through cleaning and servicing, some faults are caused by failed electronic components, damaged print heads, worn mechanical parts or other issues that cannot be resolved through maintenance alone. As a result, we cannot guarantee that your printer will be fully repaired or returned to working order following a service or any additional work carried out. The service fee covers the inspection, diagnosis and maintenance performed and remains non-refundable regardless of the outcome.

Waste Counter Reset

£15.00

If your printer already has a waste ink kit (Printer Potty) fitted and simply requires the waste counters resetting, we can carry this out while you wait.

Using a genuine one-time reset key, we will reset the waste ink counters, allowing you to continue printing quickly and safely.

Waste Kit Fitting & Waste Counter Reset

£30.00

All Epson printers monitor waste ink through an internal counter. Once this counter reaches its maximum limit, the printer enters service mode and will usually display a message such as:

“Parts inside your printer are at the end of their service life.”

Rather than replacing your printer, we can install an external waste ink tank (Printer Potty), allowing waste ink to bypass the internal pads and collect safely in an external container.

This service includes:

• Waste ink tank fitting
• Waste counter reset using a genuine one-time reset key

Please allow approximately 4–5 working days for completion.

Please note: Waste kits are compatible with some Epson printer models. We recommend contacting us with your printer model before booking so we can confirm compatibility.

Waste Kit Fitting, Reset & Full Service

£50.00

This package combines our standard printer service with the installation of an external waste ink tank and a full waste counter reset.

The service includes:

• Waste counter reset
• Waste ink tank fitting
• Print head cleaning
• Roller cleaning
• Print head alignment checks and adjustments
• CISS priming (where applicable)
• General inspection and assessment of the printer

Please allow up to one week for completion.

If additional faults or repairs are identified during the service, we will contact you with a quotation before carrying out any further work.

Please note that, as with our standard service, this package does not guarantee that your printer will be fully repaired, as some faults may require replacement parts or may be beyond economical repair.

Maintenance Box Fitting

£10.00

If your Epson EcoTank printer displays the message:

“Maintenance Box Needs Replacing”

we can fit a replacement maintenance box for you.

Please note that £10.00 covers fitting only. The maintenance box itself is charged separately. Please see our range of Epson Maintenance Boxes for current pricing.

Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS) Fitting

£10.00

If you would like to convert your printer from cartridges or refillable cartridges to a Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS), we can professionally install one for you.

Please note:

• The £10.00 charge covers fitting only.
• The CISS unit and ink must be purchased separately.
• We only install CISS systems supplied by Ink Express.
• We cannot fit CISS systems purchased from other suppliers.

• The £35.00 standard service fee is payable in advance and is non-refundable.
• A printer service is an inspection, diagnosis and maintenance service and is not a guaranteed repair.
• Any additional faults identified during servicing will always be discussed with you and quoted before any further work is carried out.
• Additional repair costs are not included within the standard service price.
• Payment for authorised additional work may be required before repairs commence.
• Whilst we will always endeavour to repair your printer, we cannot guarantee that every printer can be repaired or restored to full working order.
• We only service Epson inkjet and sublimation printers.
• Waste kits are available for selected Epson printer models only and compatibility should be confirmed before booking.
• You do not need to bring any cables with your printer where a standard 2-pin power connector is used.
• Service turnaround times are estimates only and may vary depending on the condition of your printer and the faults identified.
• We do not replace major internal components such as print heads, rollers or carriage assemblies. Where replacement parts are required, we may recommend an authorised Epson Service Centre.
• By booking your printer in for service, you acknowledge and accept the above terms and conditions.
