Ink Express ltd - Returns Policy

1) Warranty

a) All goods supplied by Ink Express ltd are warranted to be sound of workmanship and materials, and suitable for the purpose in which they are designed under fair conditions. Our liability under this Warranty will be limited to the replacment, free repair or issue of credit against any goods acknowledged by us to be faulty, provided that such faults have not be caused by your misuse of the goods or your negligent handling of them. As we supply such a wide range of goods warranty offered by Ink Express can differ from product to product, please read the warranty details below for each of our product areas-

(i) Compatible and Replacment and Remanufactured inkjet cartridges are warrantied with a no quibble exchange policy for 3 Months from the date of purchase, if for some reason you have a fault with any of our compatible, replacement or remanufactured inkjet cartridges please notify us as soon as possible and return the goods to recieve an exchange or credit to the value of.

(ii) Original OEM inkjet cartridges are again warrantied with a no quibble exchange policy for 3 Months from the date of purchase. If you do recieve a faulty product please notify us and return it for an exchange or credit to the value of.

(iii) Continuous Ink Systems (CISS) are classed as a consumable product and are warrantied for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase, we warrant or our CISS to be free from defects in workmanship and materials. Warranty covers replacement Auto reset chips, tubing joints, seals and cartridges. All repairs are free of charge within the warranty period.

(iv) Inkjet Printers, we provide brand new EPSON inkjet printers whether supplied with OEM Original Consumable items or an alternative such as compatible consumable items or a Continuous Ink System. All printers are covered by a Manufacturers Warranty for a period of 12 Months from the date of purchase, this warranty is covered by ourselves for the first 28 days from the date of purchase or EPSON UK from that period until the warranty is over. Buyers are always advised to check with the printer manufacturer regarding warranty issues using alternative consumable items such as compatible cartridge or a Continuous Ink System; Ink Express are not liable for this and leave this to the buyers disgretion.

b) In Order to make a claim under the warranties detailed above the buyer must return the goods:

(i) Within 28 days of delivery date or the time stipulated in the warranty details above, whichever is longer?

(ii) In good order and condition.

(iii) Carriage paid.

(iv) to our office at Unit 20, Fallings Park Industrial Estate, Park Lane, Wolverhampton, WV10 9QB.

c) In no circumstances will we be responcible for loss or consequential damage arising from the failure or defect of our goods.

d) If you return the goods to us to make a claim under clause b above and those goods turn out to be, in our opinion, fault free or damaged by reason of misuse or negligent handling of them, then we will give you 10 days written notice to make arrangements to collect the goods. You may collect the goods in person or make arrangements for your carrier to collect them. You will remain liable to pay for the goods in full. We reserve the right to make arrangements to return the goods to you after the 10 day period, your non-compliance with our request for instruction will lead us to assume that you have given us unconditional authority to dispose of the goods as we see fit.

2) Shortages, damages, discrepances and/or loss in transit

We will at our discretion refund, replace or issue credit where goods have been lost, wrongly delivered, damaged in transit or there is a short supply of an order. We will only consider claims if made to us within 3 days of the date of delivery. If goods have been lost in transit you must also inform the carrier in writing within that period. If goods have been damaged or supplied short, then you must keep those goods in one place, seperate from any other goods and let us inspect them if we wish before we decide what action to take. If a whole consigment of goods is lost then you must inform in writing within 10 days of invoice date.
